Nick Castellanos Homers Twice On Wednesday
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos continued to stay hot after launching two home runs in the Phillies' 6-5 win over the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday. Castellanos is hitting .429/.429/.786 with three home runs over the past seven games. He is arguably the hottest hitter in baseball, despite the Phillies failing to stay above .500. The 31-year-old went 3-for-4 at the plate while collecting three RBI, which brings his RBI count to 16. Castellanos only hit one home run before Wednesday's game, but he may start to lift the ball consistently after his two-homer show. On the season, the Florida native is slashing .333/.396/.531 with a .174 ISO and a 138 wRC+.
