2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos went 3-for-4 with a double and two solo home runs in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Rockies. Before Saturday, he hadn't homered since August 27, 2022. The 31-year-old ended his power draught blasting two home runs off Rockies southpaw Kyle Freeland in Saturday's victory. He took Freeland deep in the second inning to put the Phillies on the scoreboard and later blasted another solo shot in the sixth frame to give Philadelphia a 4-3 lead. Despite the lack of power, Castellanos has been productive in 2023. The veteran is slashing .310/.383/.500 with two home runs, 13 RBI, and 18 runs this season.
