6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates reliever Nick Burdi will seek a third opinion on his right arm as he deals with a strained right biceps tendon and flexor-mass injury. The 26-year-old has already been revealed to have no structural damage, which is a good sign. Regardless, Burdi will continue to seek medical opinions as he looks to avoid surgery. He remains without a timetable for return. Burdi has appeared in 11 games this season, posting a 9.35 ERA with a 2-1 record.--RDelgado
