Nick Boyle Agrees To Reworked Contract
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens tight end Nick Boyle agreed to a reworked contract on Friday, according to a source. Boyle's salary of $5 million was lowered to $1.12 million with a $2.63 signing bonus plus an additional $1.25 million available through incentives. $1 million of his 2023 salary was converted to a roster bonus next year. The move creates $2.565 million in salary cap space this year. Boyle played in only five games last year due to a knee injury that required two surgeries, but the Ravens expect him to be ready for the 2022 campaign. The 29-year-old might not be the same player he was before the injury, though, and he'll continue his blocking role behind pass-catching tight end Mark Andrews. Boyle can be ignored in fantasy unless Andrews misses time with an injury.
