Nick Anderson Will Throw Live BP On Friday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Nick Anderson (elbow) will throw live batting practice in Port Charlotte on Friday. He recently threw a bullpen session last Saturday and felt good afterward. The 31-year-old has been sidelined all season due to a partially torn UCL. Anderson will continue to ramp up his activity and is expected to return sometime in August. The Rays right-hander is worth stashing in most league formats as he could close once activated from the injured list. Anderson was 6-for-6 in save opportunities to go along with a 0.55 ERA, 0.69 WHIP, and a 26:3 K: BB across 16 1/3 innings in a 2020 shortened campaign.
