4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks shortstop Nick Ahmed is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Walker Buehler and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Josh Rojas is covering Ahmed's shortstop post for the day. Ahmed has been a mainstay in the lineup all year and was certainly due for an off day. He got off to a dreadful start to the year, going just 2-for-25 in July, before starting to come around in August. On the year, he's slashing .238/.310/.371 with four home runs and 20 RBI.
