Nets Being Cautious With Blake Griffin
4 years agoBrooklyn Nets forward Blake Griffin (knee) is healthy enough to play but has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers. Head coach Steve Nash said that Griffin is still working up to playing three-on-threes in practice, adding that the team wants to be mindful of his health, particularly the knee issues that have plagued him in the past. Brooklyn signed Griffin after a buyout with the Pistons. The veteran forward appeared in 20 games for Detroit, averaging 12.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.0 triples per game. He could be a small-ball five for a Nets team in need of frontcourt help.
