6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder center Nerlens Noel started for the first time this season on Sunday and he took full advantage of the opportunity, finishing with a 20-point, 15-rebound double-double against the Suns. He shot 9-for-14 from the field and also picked up four steals, two assists and one block in 29 minutes on the floor. Noel has always been a talented big man, but he's ridden the bench a lot in recent seasons and because of that, he hasn't gotten the chance to showcase his abilities. He certainly did that on Sunday after Steven Adams felt tightness in his left calf during the warmups and didn't play. It's not yet known how serious the issue is, but Noel will turn out to be hot property if Adams ends up missing any time.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
