Nemanja Bjelica Posts Career-High 30 Points
7 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves forward Nemanja Bjelica had the best night of his career on Thursday against the Boston Celtics. Bjelica scored 30 points on an impressive 11-for-16 shooting from the field and 6-for-9 from behind the arc. He also pulled down 12 boards and helped out his teammates by dishing out a couple of assists. The third-year man has immensely benefited in the absence of Jimmy Butler (knee), who is in danger of missing the rest of the season while recovering from surgery. It is unlikely that Bjelica is available in most leagues, but if for some strange reason that he is, he should be swiped up immediately. Though he has his off nights, he contributes enough to justify his existence on fantasy rosters. With things getting tight for the 'Wolves as it relates to their playoff chances, the road won’t get any easier, as they will meet the defending champs on Sunday afternoon. No longer a value-play candidate, Bjelica should be left off of DFS rosters against the defensively-sound Warriors.
