3 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz notched a pair of hits, a run scored, and a stolen base in Saturday's win over the Kansas City Royals. Cruz singled in the third inning and stole second before being thrown out at home trying to score. He later doubled and came around to score a run. The stolen base was a nice surprise for fantasy managers, considering Cruz's lack of speed, though managers are likely still hoping for more power from the veteran slugger. His continued excellence in the barrel rate and hard-hit rate departments, as well as his superb expected slugging and wOBA marks suggest he'll be just fine in the power category moving forward.--Tim Capurso
