Nelson Agholor Remains In Line For Increased Role
1 year agoFresh off a week where he saw a season-high 33 pass snaps, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Nelson Agholor is poised for an expanded role, especially with teammate Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) ruled out for Week 4 against the Browns. In the game and a half without Beckham, Agholor has shined, securing nine catches on 10 targets for 102 yards and a touchdown. Notably, he's been heavily involved in the Ravens' passing attack, leading the team in air yards percentage (13.7%), signifying his importance in stretching the field. Agholor has taken over in the slot, with 63.6% of his snaps coming from that position, sharing duties with only Mark Andrews last week. Although the Ravens currently rank 27th in 11 personnel usage, they've increased this number by 33% this year, offering ample opportunities for a second receiver. However, it's essential to consider the formidable challenge posed by the Cleveland Browns, who have been tough on wide receivers, allowing the fewest fantasy points and passing yards overall. Given the daunting matchup, Agholor remains a borderline flex play at best in for Week 4 with Beckham sidelined.
