Neil Walker’s Three-Run Blast Fuels Yankees
6 years agoNew York Yankees utility player Neil Walker hit the biggest blast on Friday night in a victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. In the fourth inning of the game, before a lengthy rain delay, the 32-year-old blasted a three-run home run to put the Yankees ahead by a run. While the Blue Jays would tie the game afterward, two more runs came around to score for the home team, as they pulled a 7-5 victory. The home run was Walker’s seventh, as continues to see time in the outfield with Aaron Judge still sidelined and Giancarlo Stanton still only able to serve as designated hitter. The Yankees remain as the first wild-card team.
