Neil Walker To Continue At Second Base On Monday
6 years agoNew York Yankees infielder Neil Walker is set to cover second base on Monday against the Tampa Bay Rays. Walker and Brandon Drury — who will sit — have been sharing second base duties while Gleyber Torres (hip) recovers from injury. Catcher Gary Sanchez — who recently made his return from a groin injury himself — will start behind the plate in favor of Austin Romine. The rest of the Yankees lineup remains the same, as the team received an unexpected day off due to Sunday's rainout. The Yankees are set to face Rays starter Hunter Wood, who has never pitched against the Bombers before. Expect there to be some growing pains between pitcher and hitter, but both outfielder Aaron Judge and third baseman Miguel Andujar have been scorching hot the last seven days and present prime fantasy options for Monday.
