6 years agoDefending NCAA individual champion Braden Thornberry will play in this week's FedEx St. Jude Classic on a sponsor's exemption. Thornberry played in this event last year on the same exemption and finished in an impressive tie for fourth -- it was the best finish by an amateur on the PGA Tour in 2017. Still only a junior at Ole Miss, the 21-year-old has tons of talent and has racked up 11 individual titles during his college career. Thornberry is from the Memphis area and will have a huge amount of fan support at TPC Southwind. DFS players should give him GPP consideration this week.--Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
