1 year agoMinnesota Timberwolves forward/center Naz Reid had a productive showing in Thursday's preseason victory over the Mavericks. The 24-year-old, who underwent wrist surgery in March, showed no signs of residual rust, scoring 16 points off 6-for-14 shooting from the field while adding seven boards. It's obvious the Timberwolves have big plans for Reid, considering the team re-signed him to a three-year, $42 million contract during the offseason. While Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert will start this season, assuming they stay healthy, Reid should see enough minutes to remain a double-double threat whenever he's on the floor.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
