Nathan Peterman Released By Bears
1 year agoThe Chicago Bears have released veteran quarterback Nathan Peterman ahead of Tuesday's deadline for teams to cut down to 53 active players. Peterman could sign back with the practice squad, but it looks like rookie Tyson Bagent will serve as Justin Fields' direct backup in 2023. Peterman has thrown four touchdowns to 13 interceptions since entering the NFL in 2017 and has spent time with the Buffalo Bills and Las Vegas Raiders before joining Chicago last offseason. Needless to say, he's not on the fantasy radar in any format.
