2 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Nathan Peterman has been promoted from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday. This is an interesting development with Justin Fields (shoulder) questionable heading into this Week 12 matchup with the New York Jets. Fields has mentioned he plans to play, but things can always change. Trevor Siemian would draw the start under center, assuming Fields doesn't play. That means, Peterman would be the emergency backup in case something happens to Siemian. Fantasy managers probably won't know more about Fields until closer to game time on Sunday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
