Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon added two assists in a 5-1 win over the Minnesota Wild on Saturday. MacKinnon's first helper came in the first period as Mikko Rantanen buried his seventh goal of the season. The former Halifax Moosehead hasn't converted on many of his scoring chances with only two goals. However, MacKinnon has been quite the setup man with ten helpers on the year. The Colorado Avalanche centerman should automatically be in your fantasy lineup every time his team plays. Minnesota is in for another tough test Sunday as they take on Colorado once again.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon posted a goal and an assist in Monday's Game 5 against the Dallas Stars but was unable to save his squad from a 6-2 loss. Colorado found itself in a three-goal hole in the second period before goals from MacKinnon and Arturri Lehkonen brought the team back into the game. However, there was no further offense from the Avalanche, who will face elimination in Wednesday's Game 6 after falling behind 3-2 in the series. Things have been difficult for Jared Bednar's men in the matchup, but MacKinnon has continued to deliver the goods. With five games played, he leads all skaters in the postseason with five goals and has recorded two assists with 31 shots on goal.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon kicked off the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs with a standout performance, recording three points in a 5-1 road victory against the Dallas Stars. The 2024 MVP scored twice on six shots and delivered one assist. MacKinnon became the ninth-fastest player in Stanley Cup Playoffs history to score 50 career goals. Playing in his 89th career postseason game, he netted a power-play goal late in the second period and scored an empty-netter in the final minutes. There should be plenty more to come in the series from MacKinnon, who averages the sixth-most points per game in NHL postseason history.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon (undisclosed) has officially been ruled out for the final two games of the regular season. He won't travel with the team for games on the road against the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks. Due to an undisclosed injury, MacKinnon was removed from the lineup for Thursday's matchup against the Vancouver Canucks, and he was initially regarded as doubtful for the weekend's road trip. The team is resting MacKinnon to ensure he remains fresh for the playoffs. The Colorado attack is also currently without Jonathan Drouin (lower body) and Ross Colton (undisclosed), giving extra fantasy value to Brock Nelson, Martin Necas, and Joel Kiviranta.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon (undisclosed) will not be in the lineup on Thursday against the Vancouver Canucks. Reports suggest he may even miss the rest of the regular-season schedule. Following Thursday night, Colorado will have two more games remaining. MacKinnon has made 209 consecutive regular-season appearances. He shares the league's scoring lead with Tampa Bay's Nikita Kucherov, totaling 116 points (32 goals, 84 assists) in 79 contests. Jonathan Drouin (lower body) and Ross Colton (undisclosed) are also out against Vancouver, increasing the fantasy values of players like Brock Nelson and Joel Kiviranta.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
