Nasrat Haqparast scored a first-round knockout win over Jamie Mullarkey at UFC Vegas 83. Haqparast started strong landing some good shots, then out of nowhere landed a massive punch that dropped Mullarkey. After landing some good shots, Mullarkey got back to his feet, but Haqparast immediately sent him back down with a punch, forcing the ref to stop it. With the victory, Haqparast is now on a three-fight win streak and 8-4 in the UFC.

Hoping to avoid the first three-fight losing streak of his career, Nasrat Haqparast (13-5) will step into the Octagon on Saturday to battle John Makdessi on the main card of UFC's Paris show this weekend. Prior to recent back-to-back losses, Haqparast had won five of his previous six contests. With knockout ability in his hands, nine of his 13 career wins have come by knockout/TKO. DraftKings sees Haqparast as the favorite with a salary of $8,700. Throughout his UFC career, he averages 54.1 fantasy points per contest. Looking at the talent level of his competition, Makdessi will be a welcomed matchup for Haqparast.

After winning back-to-back fights in 2020 and 2021, Nasrat Haqparast has now dropped back-to-back bouts after suffering a decisive decision loss to Bobby Green at UFC 271. In Saturday's contest, Haqparast landed only 76 significant strikes while absorbing a massive 188 significant strikes. Coming out of Tristar Gym, the 26-year-old Haqparast can still get wins in the UFC. When the right matchup comes, he'll be worth the start.
