Myles Turner Posts Double-Double, Adds Five Blocks
4 years agoIndiana Pacers center Myles Turner did the business on both ends of the floor once more on Tuesday, picking up 22 points, 11 rebounds, and five blocks in a 134-116 win over Memphis. He also handed out three dimes, while shooting 9-for-13 from the field, including 3-for-6 from downtown. Turner, who is averaging a league-high 3.9 blocks per game, has now recorded seven games with five-plus swats this season. He has put in a lot of effort on the defensive end and his offensive production has also improved, as this was his sixth 20-point game since Jan. 12. Turner will be in a tough spot next against Milwaukee, but will then have a very good matchup versus the Pelicans, who have allowed opposing centers to shoot 59 percent against them.
