Myles Straw Scratched From Lineup Saturday
4 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Myles Straw was scratched from the starting lineup on Saturday due to "health and safety protocols," Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports. There are no other updates as to what that means or how long Straw may be out of action, as Jose Siri got the start in his place against the Mets. Straw was looking to be the starting center fielder for Houston this season, as he had put up solid numbers this spring with a .310/.341/.429 triple-slash line with three steals in 16 games. Managers should closely monitor updates on Straw, who would likely be a solid, late-round sleeper in many formats this year.
