Myles Straw Hits .297, Steals Two Bags In Spring
3 years agoCleveland Guardians outfielder Myles Straw did a solid job of setting the table as the team's leadoff hitter this spring. Over 12 games, he slashed .297/.297/.351. While he didn't walk a single time, he only struck out three times total. He also stole two bases over the 12-game stretch. Straw will be the Guardians' everyday leadoff hitter to start the year. He's a career .266 hitter with 46 stolen bases over 256 games. He should give fantasy managers a solid boost in stolen bases and runs scored, but he won't provide any power whatsoever (five career home runs) and he's a question mark in the batting average department.
