Myles Gaskin Not Expected To Play In Week 17
5 years agoMiami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores said that rookie running back Myles Gaskin (ankle) isn't expected to play in the Week 17 season finale against the Patriots. With nothing to play for in Miami, it makes sense to rest the 2019 seventh-round pick. Gaskin will finish with just 36 carries for 133 yards (3.7 yards per carry) and one touchdown in seven games played. In a brutal matchup against New England to close out the year, it'll be fellow rookie Patrick Laird seeing most of the backfield work. De'Lance Turner should spell him. Laird will be a low-upside DFS dart throw with the imposing Patriots Defense still playing for a first-round bye.
