Muslim Salikhov won the biggest fight of his career at UFC Denver on Saturday night by defeating UFC veteran Santiago Ponzinibbio in the co-main event. By defeating Ponzinibbio, Salikhov avoided the first three-fight losing skid of his career. With this win, Salikhov improves to 7-4 in the UFC. In this closely contested bout, Salikhov landed 46 significant strikes compared to Ponzinibbio, who landed 41.

Muslim Salikhov suffered his second straight loss as he suffered a knockout loss to Randy Brown on the main card of UFC Vegas 85. Salikhov entered the scrap coming off a decision loss to Nicolas Dalby, but the 39-year-old showed his age as Brown was much faster than him on the feet. Salikhov ended up getting caught by a big right hand that dropped him and after taking one punch, the ref jumped in to stop the scrap.

Muslim Salikhov (19-4) is rebooked against Randy Brown on the main card of UFC Vegas 85 after the two were supposed to fight at UFC 296, but Brown fell ill during fight week and the bout was postponed until now. Salikhov is coming off a decision loss to Nicolas Dalby in June and is 1-2 in his last three fights. Heading into his scrap against Brown at UFC Vegas 85, Salikhov is a sizeable underdog as DraftKings has him at a salary of $7,100. In his UFC career, Salikhov is 6-3 and has won three fights by stoppage, while he's been finished in two of his three losses.
