Multiple Mariners Test Positive For COVID-19
4 years agoSeattle Mariners general manager Jerry Dipoto said that "more than one" player on the team has tested positive for COVID-19. Dipto also said that a "few" of them, not all, are showing symptoms of the virus. With spring training 2.0 set to begin next week in Seattle for the Mariners, all of their players will be tested in order to get clearance to begin workouts. There will be a new disabled list for players that test positive for COVID-19 during the shortened 2020 season, which will make this season much more difficult for fantasy players to navigate. The good news is that any players that have tested positive recently have enough time to quarantine and be ready for Opening Day in late July.
