6 years agoThe wait is over for fantasy managers. Boston Red Sox superstar outfielder Mookie Betts will be batting leadoff and starting in right field on Monday against the Baltimore Orioles. Betts has missed the past 14 games with an abdominal strain. He was arguably the best player in baseball at the time of his injury as he has amassed a ridiculous stat line. Through 48 games, Betts was slashing .359/.437/.750 to go along with 17 home runs, 37 RBI, 13 stolen bases, and 52 runs scored. Betts, who has been taking batting practice the past few days, clearly feels back to normal as he rebuffed the idea of playing in a rehab game.
