3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Dillon Peters and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Trea Turner will be leading off for the game with Chris Taylor (knee) returning to the lineup and covering right field. This appears to be nothing but a regular day off for Betts. The 29-year-old is off to a nice start to the month of May. He's recorded at least one hit in seven of eight games this month while slashing .294/.324/.500. Expect to see him back in the lineup for Thursday's series opener against the Philadelphia Phillies.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
