Mookie Betts OK After Collision
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder/second baseman Mookie Betts (ankle) collided with Jason Heyward on a pop-up during Tuesday's 5-2 win against the Colorado Rockies. The former took some time to get up but has since said that he's "fine" after twisting his ankle, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Betts stayed in the game without any issues and shouldn't need any time off. The 30-year-old superstar is having a solid start to the season, slashing .300/.440/.550 with a home run, five runs, and an RBI in six games. Fantasy managers should expect another great season from Betts, who hit .269 with 35 homers and 12 stolen bases in 2022. As the leadoff hitter for a great Dodgers offense, the veteran should have no problem providing value in every category.
