Mookie Betts Back In Right Field, Leadoff Spot Friday
Mookie Betts is back in the starting lineup on Friday against the Chicago Cubs and left-hander Drew Smyly after missing two games while on the paternity list this week. Betts is back in right field and is hitting in his usual leadoff spot for the Blue. The 30-year-old was activated from the paternity list Thursday night and entered the game at shortstop with both Chris Taylor (side) and Miguel Rojas (hamstring) injured, but he'll be back in right field on Friday. There's a chance we'll see Betts at the 6 again, but he's unlikely to see enough time there to gain eligibility at the premium position in fantasy leagues. Return the All-Star to your starting lineups this weekend.
