Montrezl Harrell Pours In Season-High 26 Points
4 years agoLos Angeles Lakers center Montrezl Harrell played his second straight strong game despite the effort ending in another loss for his team. Harrell dropped a season-high 26 points, adding nine rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in a 127-124 loss to the Wizards. The former Clipper has seen his shot attempts and usage rate dip since joining the Lakers, though that has changed with Anthony Davis (calf) sidelined. Harrell has averaged 22 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game in his last two contests while setting a season-high in shot attempts on Monday night. He'll get a day off before Wednesday's tough matchup against the Jazz, whose stingy paint defense has been led by Rudy Gobert once again.
