Monte Harrison Signs Minor League Deal With Angels
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels have signed outfielder Monte Harrison to a minor league deal. The 26-year-old spent the past four years in the Miami Marlins' organization. He debuted in the majors in 2020 and appeared in 41 games over the past two years. Over that 41-game stint, he slashed just .175/.230/.263. He was released by the Marlins in March. Harrison had some solid years in the minors, originally coming up through the Milwaukee Brewers' organization. He had an .832 OPS at Single-A in 2017, then he racked up 19 home runs and 28 stolen bases at Double-A in 2018. We'll see if he can make his way back to the majors now that he's a member of the Angels' organization.
