4 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Monte Harrison was called up from the alternate training site on Friday. After Wednesday's game, the Marlins optioned starting pitcher Daniel Castano but did not announce the corresponding move until today. With outfielders Garrett Cooper (foot) and Corey Dickerson (groin) nursing injuries, the Marlins were in need of another player who could fill in at the three outfield spots. Harrison has struggled mightily in his limited major league action, but he has tons of speed and raw power and could be a real fantasy contributor if he ever puts it all together.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
