Monster Game From Denis Gurianov Fuels Comeback Win
4 years agoDallas Stars forward Denis Gurianov recorded his first career NHL hat trick in Game 6, scoring four of Dallas' seven goals in the series finale against Calgary. After the Flames raced out to a three-goal lead, the Stars scored seven unanswered goals in response with Gurianov picking up a point on five of them. In addition to his four even-strength goals, Gurianov assisted on Radek Faksa's power-play goal. Gurianov's scoring prowess was on display during the regular season, scoring 20 goals across 64 games in his rookie campaign, and now he has six goals in nine postseason games. Limited ice time will keep a cap on Gurianov's ceiling, he has only logged more than 15 minutes of ice time twice since play resumed, but there are few players on Dallas that have shown the scoring touch that Gurianov has.
