Mohamed Sanu May Have A Mediocre Performance Thursday
6 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Mohamed Sanu will look to start his season strong against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday. Sanu will face an Eagles defense that ranked in the bottom third in allowing fantasy points to wide receivers last year. Sanu will once again be the Falcons No. 2 receiver behind Julio Jones. He should see his usual five to nine targets, similar to last season. The only concern is Sanu only managed to break double-digit fantasy points once last season without a touchdown. On top of that, he was only targeted in the red zone an average of 0.8 times per game last season. Going into Week 1, Sanu should be kept on the bench, even in deeper leagues, until he proves himself as a threat in the end zone.
