Mohamed Sanu, Matt Bryant Don't Practice Thursday
6 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Mohamed Sanu (hip) and kicker Matt Bryant (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday. Sanu is a downgrade after being limited on Wednesday, so that's not a good sign for his status this Sunday against the Redskins. In a tough matchup, Sanu has limited upside as a WR4/flex if he plays. If he doesn't suit up, it'll mean more looks for rookie Calvin Ridley and tight end Austin Hooper. Bryant was supposed to test his injured hamstring on Thursday, so this looks to be bad news for his chances of returning Sunday. If he misses another game, Giorgio Tavecchio will continue to handle the kicking duties. Tavecchio would merely be a low-end streaming choice for the desperate.
