Mohamed Sanu Looking Ready To Go
6 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Mohamed Sanu hasn’t practiced much this week, but appears to be ready to play Sunday against the Redskins. Sanu has been battling a hip injury, but isn’t listed as questionable going into the weekend. We saw Sanu’s snap count go down in Week 7 against the Giants, but assuming he is ready to go he should resume is usual role. While Sanu may be the No. 3 receiver with the arrival of Calvin Ridley, he continues to be a consistent target for Matt Ryan in the end zone. There is some concern with the Falcons spreading the ball out so much, but Sanu should start to receive his usual seven targets once he’s at full health. Going into this week he can be seen as a risky WR3/Flex option given his health and matchup.
