6 years agoOrlando Magic center Mohamed Bamba got only 14 minutes to impress in Saturday's loss to the Sixers, but he didn't find it difficult to do, swatting away three shots. He provides a great defensive presence for the team with his huge wingspan and he's racking up blocks in a hurry, averaging two per game through his first three career games. He's also done some good work on the boards, getting 4.3 rebounds per game in less than 20 minutes on the floor. Bamba's role in the team should grow throughout the season and he'll be a guy to watch especially during the latter part of the year when the Magic inevitably fall out from playoff contention.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
