Mo Bamba Signs With 76ers
1 year agoThe Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with center Mo Bamba. The big man has found a new home less than a week after being waived from the Los Angeles Lakers. At times, Bamba has shown flashes of potential that made him the sixth overall pick from the 2019 NBA Draft. However, the 25-year-old has been unable to put it all together yet. The assumption is that Bamba is going to play a limited role off the bench behind Joel Embiid. He averaged 6.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks less than 16 minutes per game this past season. It's hard to imagine him having a bigger role than that on the Sixers with a healthy Embiid.
