Mo Bamba Has Good Outing As Starter
4 years agoOrlando Magic center Mo Bamba replaced Wendell Carter Jr. (ankle) in the starting five for Thursday's meeting with New Orleans and enjoyed a fine game with 17 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks. He led the team in scoring alongside Devin Cannady as the Pelicans ran away with a 35-point victory. Bamba, who shot 6-for-15 from the field and 2-for-7 from downtown, has received more opportunities since the Magic traded away Nikola Vucevic. Carter Jr. has locked up the starters spot, but Bamba is a guy fantasy managers should have their eyes on if Carter Jr. misses time. He might make a quick return with Orlando off until Sunday.
