Mo Alie-Cox Posts Two-Touchdown Performance
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox came out of nowhere and posted a strong outing against the Tennessee Titans in Week 4. The veteran tight end was coming off a one-catch performance last week. He made sure to make up for that performance on Sunday. In Week 4, Alie-Cox hauled in all six of his targets for 85 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. The 29-year-old outshined everyone else on the Colts offense in this one. Sadly, Alie-Cox is too inconsistent to trust. He'll be a desperation deep league option heading into the Week 5 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

Mo Alie-Cox, Ashton Dulin Active For Colts
3 months agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox (hip) and wide receiver Ashton Dulin (ankle) are both active on Sunday and will suit up against the division-rival Tennessee Titans in Week 16. Neither player is worth attention in fantasy in starting lineups, though. Alie-Cox hasn't missed a regular-season game since 2020. The 31-year-old veteran tight end is used mostly as a blocker for the Colts, although he'll occasionally see some red-zone looks. He cannot be trusted in fantasy with only 11 catches for 132 yards and one touchdown in 14 games in 2024. Dulin could actually see more of the field on Sunday with Alec Pierce out with a concussion, but he's still a long shot to stand out in the box score at the end of the day. The 27-year-old pass-catcher will still likely struggle for targets. He hasn't caught a pass since Week 2.

Mo Alie-Cox, Ashton Dulin Questionable To Face Titans
3 months agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox (hip) and wide receiver Ashton Dulin (ankle) are both considered questionable to play on Sunday in Week 16 against the division-rival Tennessee Titans. Alie-Cox didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday but was a full-go in practice on Friday. The 31-year-old is mostly a blocker for the Colts and has only 11 receptions for 132 yards and one touchdown on 18 targets in all 14 games this year, so even if he's active on Sunday, he should remain off the fantasy radar. If Alie-Cox is inactive, Kylen Granson, Drew Ogletree and Will Mallory will vie for more snaps on offense. The Colts already ruled out Alec Pierce (concussion), so Dulin would be competing for targets with rookie Adonai Mitchell as the WR3 in Week 16 if he's active. Dulin has missed the last two games and hasn't caught a pass since Week 2.

Mo Alie-Cox Missing Another Practice
3 months agoJames Boyd of The Athletic reports that Indianapolis Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox (hip) is not practicing on Thursday. It's the second straight day he'll be tagged with a DNP. The eighth-year veteran suffered his injury late last week, missing Friday's practice, but could still participate in Sunday's 31-13 loss to the Denver Broncos. However, he played on a season-low percentage of snaps (30%). Considering Alie-Cox played after a late-week DNP last week, it's feasible he could do so again in Week 16. Still, it'd be good if he could log at least a limited session ahead of this Sunday. If he is inactive, teammate Will Mallory projects to pick up some more snaps working in behind Kylen Granson and Drew Ogletree.

Mo Alie-Cox Active Against Broncos On Sunday
3 months agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox (hip) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. He had been listed as questionable after missing practice on Friday. Cox has appeared in all 13 games so far this season, catching 11 passes for 132 yards and one touchdown. Indianapolis' tight ends have no appeal in fantasy football given the committee of Cox, Kylen Granson, Drew Ogletree, and Will Mallory.
