Mito Pereira Looks to Build on Hot Start to PGA Tour Career
3 years agoMito Pereira has come out of the gates firing. In five PGA Tour starts since the start of July, the young Chilean has already recorded two top-10s, and that isn't even including a fourth-place finish at the Tokyo Olympics Men's Golf Competition. While Pereira faltered last week with a 39th-place finish at the Barracuda Championship, it's hard to put too much stock into that event. The three-time Korn Ferry Tour winner still deserves consideration this week on account of his ball-striking. Pereira has gained over 1.5 strokes off the tee in his last four measured starts, and over two strokes on approach in his last three measured starts. Pereira remains a viable option this week.
