Mitch White Tabbed As Starter For Wednesday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Mitch White will get the ball for Wednesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals, according to manager Dave Roberts. White will make his fourth straight start as the Dodgers continue to navigate the myriad of issues with the rotation. The 26-year-old was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City after placing outfielder AJ Pollock on the 10-day injured list. The right-hander should be treated as a risky play, as he has only pitched beyond the fifth inning in one outing. White is 1-2 with a 3.49 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and 41 K across 38 2/3 innings pitched this season.
