Mitch White Picks Up Second Loss
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Mitch White got his third straight start on Sunday and suffered his second loss of the year. White went 3 1/3 innings and allowed six hits, three runs, two walks and struck out six on the evening. The Dodgers have been going with White as an opener over his last three starts, but that's mainly due to having starting pitchers, Clayton Kershaw (forearm), Trevor Bauer (administrative leave), Tony Gonsolin (shoulder) and Danny Duffy (elbow) all on the injured list. White is now 1-2 with a 3.49 ERA in 18 games (three starts). He's currently lined up to face the San Francisco Giants and can be avoided in all formats.
