6 years agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Mitch Moreland (hamstring) is hitting, playing catch and running the bases during a workout on Friday. The team will make a decision on whether to include him on their roster for the American League Championship Series against the Astros after the workout. Moreland injured his hamstring in Game 2 of the Division Series and didn't play in either of the final two games of that series. He's really only a DFS sleeper option against righties when he's in the lineup if he is included on the ALCS roster. Steve Pearce would see more playing time if Moreland is left off the roster.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
