Mitch Haniger Cleared For Light Activity On Wednesday
5 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (testicle), who has been sidelined since June 6 with a ruptured testicle, finally received a positive update on Wednesday. He was cleared by doctors to begin light activity, such as playing catch and hitting off a tee. While there is still no timetable for his return, there's at least now some indication that he's headed in the right direction. Haniger has a slash line of .220/.314/.463 with 15 home runs, 32 RBI and 46 runs across 63 games on the season. He's worth holding onto in all but the most shallow of leagues if managers can afford the roster spot.
