4 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver is not in Saturday's lineup against the Brewers. Garver takes a seat on the bench for a rest day after going 0-for-5 with three strikeouts on Opening Day. Ryan Jeffers will get his first start behind the plate and will bat seventh against right-hander Corbin Burnes. It's unclear how manager Rocco Baldelli views the playing time split between Garver and Jeffers, so it's something to keep an eye on over the course of the first two weeks of the season.--Tim Capurso
