Mitch Garver Expected To Be Fine After Leaving Friday's Game Early
4 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver (shoulder) was forced to leave Friday's game early with an apparent shoulder injury. Manager Rocco Baldelli said that the veteran backstop had to stay loose during the multiple rain delays in the game, which could have contributed to the soreness in his shoulder. Baldelli added that Garver should be fine in a couple of days and could even be available for Saturday's game against the Tigers. For now, it's a safe bet to assume that the Twins will take a cautious approach with Garver, so fantasy managers should plan to be without his services on Saturday.
