Mitch Garver Belts Three-Run Homer Thursday
4 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver belted his second home run of the season in a 10-2 win over Seattle Thursday. Garver's homer left the bat at an exit velocity of 106.3 MPH and traveled 435 feet, the farthest-hit ball in the game. He rocketed a double and came around to score in his third trip to the plate. Garver is batting just .222 this season, though perhaps this was the performance he needed to get him going. The Twins have a day off Friday, though with left-hander Yusei Kikuchi on the mound for Seattle Saturday, Garver's fantasy managers should expect him in the lineup for the contest.
