Minnesota Vikings Defense- Week 9 Outlook
3 years agoThe Minnesota Vikings defense breathed a sigh of relief in Week 8 against the Dallas Cowboys when it was announced that Dak Prescott would not be playing. After all, Cooper Rush would be making his first NFL start against a Vikings defense that currently sits at 8th best against opposing quarterbacks. But Rush and the Cowboy offense would go on to put up 419 yards of total offense in a shockingly poor performance by the Viking defense. Things won’t get any easier this week as Minnesota travels to face Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens offense has only turned the ball over eight times on the season, tied for 10th fewest in the league. They are also 9th in the league with 26.7 points per game, making the Vikings defense a risky play in Week 9.
