Miles Sanders Tough To Trust In Conference Championship
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders will take on the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Conference Championship game this Sunday. Last weekend against the New York Giants, the Eagles torched their division rival for 268 yards on the ground. The 25-year-old accounted for 90 of those yards but failed to find the end zone and was taken out once the game got out of hand. Still, Sanders was the one given the majority of carries when the game mattered, and that will likely be the case this weekend against a much stiffer 49ers defense. San Francisco held the Dallas Cowboys rushing attack to just 76 yards on 22 carries and have kept opposing running backs this past regular season. The Eagles' workhorse back will see plenty of carries Sunday, but he will have little upside for fantasy purposes against the 49ers front. Consider him a low-end starting option in DFS lineups with the likes of Joe Mixon, Christian McCaffrey, and Isiah Pacheco available.
